Art of Happiness
What if everything is just fine—great, as it should be—and there is nothing missing, nothing that needs to be accomplished, nothing lacking? What if there is no place that needs to be visited, no goal that needs to be accomplished, no target that needs to be achieved? Nothing—just a simple, pure, harmonious state of satisfaction, simplicity, harmony, joy, happiness, love, and purity. What if my life is already perfect as it is?
What if God is so merciful that I already have everything I need in this moment, that I am already where I am meant to be, and that everything that should come into my life is already on its way, coming by the mercy of the Lord?
What if all the lessons, projects, and challenges are there because I wished for them—in order to grow, to learn, to play, and to experience all the accompanying emotions, thoughts, and states of being? What if I slow down, stop, reflect, and realize that I do not need either less or more—that I have enough, just enough? What if I accept that I do not need to go anywhere to be happy or to experience fulfilment, and realize that I am already happy here and now?
What if I do not need more fun, more friends, more money, more appreciation, more possessions, more conversations, more muscles, more horsepower, more kWh, more GBs, more points, more pixels, more projects, more…? What if everything is already here, and God has given me—and continues to give me, in every moment—whatever I need, and my life is perfect? What if God protects me from an excess of unnecessary things and from the complexity of unwanted and unneeded situations, people, and desires? What if I receive all of this simply because God loves me, because He made me and takes care of me?
What if I let all my desires fly freely, and those that truly belong to me continue to circle around me, waiting for the right moment to come to fruition, while those that were never true desires of my heart simply fly away, leaving me in alignment with myself—with clarity and lightness, with joy and purpose?
What if life feels heavy only because I carry around ideas, thoughts, and emotions that do not belong to me, and I chase other people’s dreams? What if my life feels hard because I give too much importance to people and places that do not belong in my life and do not deserve so much of my attention? What if I let go, and by letting go of what does not serve my well-being and happiness, I allow all that serves me well and enriches my life to come to me?

What if God is merciful and full of love, and He always wishes the best for me and gives me the best, all the time? What if I simply need to open myself to the best by closing myself off to what is not best for me? And what if all the apparent mistakes were not mistakes at all, but rather discoveries of things that do not belong in my life or align with my system of values?
Would my growth stop? Would I limit my potential, or would I allow it to express itself naturally, according to the higher order of things? Would I close myself off to everything new, or would I be truly fulfilled and happy simply by being—by remaining open to life and to the life force that flows through us all? Can life be beautiful, perfect, joyful, and harmonious in its simplicity? And can I allow myself that simplicity? Can I allow myself pure love? Pure freedom?
Wu wei. Flow. Quiet surrender.
